AppLiger uses artificial intelligence functionality only where it supports specific product features and provides a clear benefit to users. This policy explains how AI-enabled functionality is used in AppLiger products and how customer data is handled.
AI functionality in AppLiger apps
Easy Issue Templates for Jira includes limited AI-enabled functionality through Atlassian Rovo.
The Rovo functionality may assist users with actions such as working with templates through conversational interactions. AI features are supplementary to the core functionality of the app and are not required to use Easy Issue Templates.
Customers can disable Rovo functionality where supported by Atlassian and AppLiger configuration.
How AI processing is provided
AppLiger’s current Cloud apps are built on Atlassian Forge and run on Atlassian infrastructure.
AI functionality provided through Rovo uses Atlassian’s AI platform and associated controls. AppLiger does not operate separate AI infrastructure for this functionality.
Data used by AI features
AI functionality may process information necessary to complete the action requested by the user, subject to the user’s Jira permissions and the capabilities provided by Atlassian Rovo.
AppLiger follows data-minimization principles and does not intentionally provide AI features with access to data that is not required for the requested functionality.
Access to Jira data remains subject to applicable Atlassian authentication and authorization controls.
Customer control
Use of AI-enabled functionality is limited to the features where it is explicitly provided.
Customers remain in control of whether AI functionality is available within their Atlassian environment, subject to Atlassian’s administrative controls and applicable AppLiger configuration.
Core Easy Issue Templates functionality does not depend on AI.
Security and privacy
AI-enabled functionality is subject to AppLiger’s existing security, privacy, and access-control practices.
AppLiger does not use AI functionality as a substitute for authentication, authorization, or security controls.

Responsible use
AppLiger aims to use AI functionality in a transparent and proportionate manner. AI-generated responses or actions may not always be complete or accurate, and users should review AI-assisted outputs where appropriate before relying on them for important decisions or workflows.
AppLiger may update or expand AI-enabled functionality over time. Material changes to how AI is used or how customer data is handled will be reflected in this policy and other applicable documentation.
