📦 Easy Templates: v5.8.0
With this version, Easy Templates now fully leverages Forge backend and storage as its sole infrastructure - no more 3rd-party AWS. One step closer to Runs on Atlassian! 🎉
This release continues our Forge Remote migration and supports the overall Connect to Forge transition plan.

⚠️ Important to know
With Forge hosted storage, the process for app uninstalling and data retention is changed:
Uninstalling the app will unlink your templates from the app.
Reinstalling the app will not automatically restore your templates.
You can still recover your templates, but it will require assistance from the Atlassian support team and must be done within 21 days of the uninstall.
Submit your recovery request via our Customer Portal
Then we’ll follow up with Atlassian to make the recovery possible
This is an Atlassian legal requirement to keep data retention consistent.

These changes might affect your usual template workflows. If you notice any discrepancies, let us know! We're dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for you and your team
The app is not yet eligible for “Runs on Atlassian.” Remote storage remains enabled for Connect customers who have not migrated. We plan to achieve “Runs on Atlassian” status within 1 to 2 months.
